PART I: APRIL-MAY MARKET OUTLOOK FOR SELLERS
Spring remains the most active season in real estate, and April through May is when sellers often see the strongest momentum. Warmer weather, longer days, and the push to move before summer vacations bring a surge of motivated buyers into the market. At the same time, inventory typically rises, meaning more listings compete for attention. This makes pricing and presentation especially important. Well-prepared homes—those that are staged, updated, and priced strategically—tend to stand out and can still attract multiple offers.
While increased competition might seem like a drawback, it actually helps validate pricing and brings serious buyers to the table. Sellers who list early in the season often benefit from peak demand, but even those entering later can succeed if they position their property effectively. The key is balancing ambition with realism—understanding that today’s buyers are informed, selective, and quick to act when they see value.
