LAST MINUTE APPOINTMENTS ARE OFTEN SALES
Once you list your home, you want it sold as soon as possible. Most appointments to view a house are arranged for the convenience of both parties. Prospective buyers are sometimes on tight schedules and the Realtor has to make last-minute appointments.
Last-minute appointments shouldn’t annoy sellers. These appointments have the highest percentage of success in sales. Why?
Often the prospects are on a whirlwind house-hunting trip. They don’t have the luxury of time on their side, but they have money and an urgent need for a house–right now. It is possible that the buyer prospect is from out of town, pressed for time, and staying in your area only for a couple days. Or, perhaps, the prospect—in a heated rush—neglected to mention criteria that would have included your home in earlier property searches. Whatever the case, the busy prospect is more likely to make an immediate offer than the buyer who has all the time in the world. If you really want to sell your house in a hurry, treat last-minute appointments as an opportunity–not an inconvenience.
